About the Project
|
|
The project began in 1996, when our teacher, Mrs. D, suggested that her students begin collecting something so that they could see what a million of something looks like. Mrs. D didn't want to collect something that would have to be thrown away, so she decided to collect can tabs, since they can be recycled when the project is finished. And what's even better is that the money we make from recycling the million tabs will be used to help children in need!
